CAMBRIA CONCERTS UNPLUGGED PRESENTS The Tipsy Gypsies, "PLUGGED" at Camp Ocean Pines
The group blends Pop and Blues with a danceable and distinctive Jazz sound.

From the Central Coast of California, the band consists of vocalist Hilary Langdon, guitarist Forrestt Williams, saxophone/clarinetist Laura Foxx, bassist Brian Lanzone, drummer Daryl VanDruff, with additional vocals from the talented Reese Galido. Sometimes more folks too! Some of the finest musicians on the Central Coast

Live Tipsy Gypsies shows invite audience members to experience the infectious joy felt on-stage. While intermixing favorite tunes new and old with intentional improvised jams, the band engages concert-goers through grooves meant for singing and dancing along.

In both 2017 and 2016, the Tipsy Gypsies won several San Luis Obispo New Times Music Awards, including Best Album,
Best Live Band, and Reader’s Choice. The band has felt at home performing on large stages, such as Live Oak Music Festival and SLO Concerts in the Plaza, and also enjoys filling an intimate venue with their full and energized sound.

Come and experience paradise in the pine trees at the beautiful Camp Oceans Pines Facility on the South West boundary of Cambria.

ARRIVAL TIMES:

Handicapped Placard Holders may begin to arrive by
 1:30pm

General Parking cars may arrive by 2pm

Getting There:
The is a long well maintained dirt driveway when you turn into the camp. The camp is on the very South-Western corner of Cambria. Please allow extra time for this. There will be a greeter at the entrance to this driveway who will point you to the next volunteer. Please be patient as the wait to get onto the entrance road may be somewhat lengthy. Do not Honk your horn, please be respectful to the Residents!

Handicapped Parking: Folks with placards ONLY will be allowed to arrive at the Venue by 1:30pm at the earliest! You will be allowed to drive all the way to amphitheater for drop-off ONLY. Then you will drive around the back of the stage and back out to the Main parking area where there will be Disabled rows that an attendant will direct you to. PLEASE make sure that the driver  has mobility to walk back to the amphitheater. Parking volunteers will guide you to the right place.

General Parking: I have volunteers who will be parking everyone in assigned rows. You will NOT be allowed to look for your own space. Once up the winding drive, the attendant will guide you to the proper row.

Weather: Camp Ocean Pines can change weather conditions within minutes. It can be blazing hot in the sun so please wear a hat and sunscreen. Then suddenly it can be pea soup FOGGY and even COLD!! Be ready for anything. Bring a personal small umbrella for waiting before the concert begins.

Seating: General Seating, NO reserved seating. There is a little bit of a walk to the amphitheater from the parking area, so I suggest using a wagon to bring your Concert items. There is a terrific view from every seat due to the amphitheater setting.

If you choose to sit on the stone benches, my suggestion is to consider purchasing a stadium seat like the one below with a seat cushion and a back cushion. They have these at Amazon, Walmart as well as most Sporting Goods Stores. You can also sit along the sides and in the back, on regular patio type and/or low back chairs. Do not come unprepared. The first 2 rows of the amphitheater will be blocked off. The Dance floor is small but mighty!!!

Seating OUTSIDE of the stone benches will be with your own folding chairs. There is plenty of room to move around. If you wish to be far away from others, you can still do that AND see and hear the Concert.

What to Bring: You are allowed to bring your own food and drink. Full on picnics if you wish. There will be some drinks and cookies for sale there by the COP Staff as well. THANK YOU!

Bathrooms and Trash: There are beautiful bathrooms at Camp Ocean Pines, please clean up after yourselves as a courtesy to others. Conserve water. If you pack it in, please pack it out. Be respectful to Camp Ocean Pines for providing this amazing venue. Thank you.

Smoking and Vaping: ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING/VAPING OF ANYTHING. There may be a designated smoking area back out near the parking lot. More on that later.
