Event Summary

The San Luis Obispo County Jazz Federation will present the internationally renowned Mimi Fox B3 Organ Trio on Saturday October 14th at 7:30 pm at Mt. Carmel Lutheran Church in SLO.  Guitarist Mimi Fox is a virtuosic improviser who’s shows “utter mastery” (Downbeat Magazine) and “dazzles from start to finish” (Jazz Weekly) and has performed/recorded with Branford Marsalis, Joey DeFrancesco, Diana Krall, Houston Person and Stanley Jordan among many others.  Her trio includes the outstanding Brian Ho on Hammond B3 organ and Lorca Hart on drums.

 

The show starts at 7:30 (with doors opening at 7:00).  Tickets are priced at $30 for general admission, $20 for Jazz Federation members and $10 for students.   Mt. Carmel Lutheran Church is located at 1701 Fredericks Street in SLO.
