Songwriters at Play will celebrate the 79th birthday of folk-rock icon Joni Mitchell, with a tribute concert on Friday Nov. 4 at Unity of Santa Maria! Tickets are $20 and will also be available at the door.

The cast includes Kiki Ebsen,  keyboardist and singer, who has performed with the likes of Boz Scaggs, Michael McDonald, Al Jarreau, Chicago, and Christopher Cross. She also formed the "Joni Mitchell Project," a collection of top Los Angeles players who regularly play full concerts of Joni songs. Kiki is the daughter of Hollywood icon Buddy Ebsen (Jed Clampett of The Beverly Hillbillies), and created a multi-media one-woman show, “To Dad with Love” https://kikiebsen.com/

Sing along with Circle Game, Woodstock, Big Yellow Taxi, Urge for Going, All I Want, and many more. The Songwriters at Play performers are singer-songwriters too, but on this show they will all be selecting songs from Joni's wide discography.

The lineup also includes: local duo Jan & Nina, East Bay's Zoe FitzGerald Carter, Norway native Ann-Marita, Central Coast band The Taproots, L.A.'s Brenda Carsey, and local faves Gary Garrett, Donna Phillips, and Ynana Rose.
