About Chef Candace Custodio

Chef Candice was born and raised in Los Angeles, California and now permanently resides on the beautiful Central Coast. Raised in a Latin household with food culture influences from Mexico, Costa Rica, and Puerto Rico, food and cooking has always been a part of Chef Candice’s life. She did not pursue her Culinary passions until later in life, first becoming the first in her family to graduate college earning a Political Science B.A. from the California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo.

After spending several years behind a desk in the office life, she was gifted with a lay off and severance pay that she used to attend the New School of Cooking. With the guidance of exceptional teachers and mentors, Chef Candice propelled herself up the culinary ladder. After some time at the Langham Hotel, she launched Chef Candice LLC, a quickly successful Private Chef business catering to elite clients in Beverly Hills and the greater Los Angeles area.

Now residing in Creston, near Paso Robles, Chef Candice spent some time exercising her culinary prowess as a Sous Chef and then Executive Chef at prominent local vineyards before reopening the doors of Chef Candice LLC. She has also since launched Club SupSup, the Central Coast’s first and only (and always SOLD OUT) Latin inspired Supper Club.
