The Red Barn in Los Osos is a 100+ year old barn. It’s a treasured, intimate venue for events like concerts, weddings, memorials, parties, and BBQs.

It’s in a county park and the county keeps the fees low so everyone can afford to rent it for an event. It’s cool we have the only indoor facility in a county park and that it is so cheap to rent.

But with budget constraints and recent countywide flood damage that overtaxed the Parks Department budget there is no possibility they can afford to pay for replacing things like chairs at their facilities, like the Red Barn.

That’s why Celebrate Los Osos raised money to purchase new tables last year and is asking for your help to purchase 100 new chairs this year. Your sponsorship of a chair is tax deductible.

About Celebrate Los Osos:

Celebrate Los Osos began in January 2008. We are an all-volunteer community-based organization whose motto is “making a difference, one project at a time.” We work to improve public spaces in Los Osos | Baywood Park, California.

We utilize volunteers to plant, paint, beautify, repair, refurbish and maintain projects, big and small, that directly involve community members in order to stimulate community pride by working together, and to leave a legacy for all to enjoy.

We have restored the iconic redwood “welcome” signs; refurbished the Bridge Bear sculptures; enlarged and built the family picnic area at the Red Barn and painted the barn; and designed and planted the Los Osos Valley Road median, plus many more projects.
