Event Summary

LOCATION: Atascadero City Hall - 6500 Palma Ave. & Cielo - 6400 El Camino Real, Atascadero, CA 93422

Join us on March 8th in Atascadero’s Sunken Garden for the Central Coast's first-ever International Women's Day Fireworks Celebration, a dazzling tribute to women's achievements worldwide.

This event is more than just a celebration; it's an opportunity to honor the women in your life against the backdrop of Atascadero's storied history. Learn about the Women’s Republic's as their legacy comes to life through complimentary tours by the Atascadero Historical Society that showcases the impact women have made on the city's growth. Attendees will enjoy a rare glimpse behind the scenes at city hall, offering insights into the symbiotic relationship between the city's development and Women's History Month. Participants will leave with newfound knowledge of the city's historical connection with women's contributions.

This celebration will have live music setting the ambiance. We will also host a mini-pop up event in Sunken Garden called “Good on the Green.” It will feature local non-profit organizations that provide invaluable resources and insights into entrepreneurship, the culinary arts, and initiatives that empower women and our community.

We invite all guests to dine locally in Atascadero, enjoy our local wineries, breweries and restaurants. Consider extending your stay to fully experience the charm of our community. For a curated selection of recommended accommodations in Atascadero, please visit:
